Framed By The Word Of God
Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
It is through faith that we can receive understanding of the creation of all that we see and know. God created and framed these physical things, but there is a spiritual parallel for us to find in faith. As we have discussed in The Sea of Flesh, and in Of The Earth, Earthy, we were created without form and void; as it was with the earth, darkness was upon our hearts, and God moved on us. God desires us to be separated from the sea, or flesh, but not to remain in the earth. God wants to frame us spiritually by the Word, and allow us to walk in the heavenly in this life, and has provided all we need. Why do we, in flesh, reject his call to the things of the Spirit?
Isaiah 29:16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?
We must understand that God will prune, purge, and frame us only as and when we seek Him, and allow Him to. As He promised the Jews before they went to Babylon, so shall it be for us;
Jeremiah 29:11 – 14 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with your whole heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
When we find Him in a greater way, we receive more knowledge of who and what we are in the flesh, and that only by His grace can we be delivered, and spiritually become the temple that He desires us to be. If we have fallen into sin, we have become spiritually captive; we cannot completely return to the place that we were without Him. If we repent and seek Him as these scriptures declare, God will bring us again to the place where we were carried away captive. God has called us to a heavenly walk, and will then frame and build us;
Ephesians 2:19 – 22 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together growth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Hebrews 3:1 tells us Christ Jesus is the Apostle and High Priest of our profession. He is also King of kings, and Lord of lords, the head of the body; and if we are built and framed on that chief corner stone, we can become an habitation of God, as spoken in the above scripture. In Matthew 3:9 John the Baptist said God is able to raise up children of Abraham from the stones. With what we now know about DNA this generation should have a greater physical understanding of this scripture than any other throughout history. Knowing that Almighty God can make a child of Abraham from stones, realize what He can do with you! We need to be spiritual stones (I Peter 2:4 – 9) to be part of His building. To be …fitly framed … we must be in His image. But what is that image? It is not for us to determine, or decide; we must be like Him in all respects to become …an habitation of God … Smith Wigglesworth spoke of looking for translation; we should be looking and seeking to be “in His image” that we could be translated. We were not made to be in the image of our own choosing; we were not made to be in an image of pride; we were not made to be in an image of the flesh; and we were not made to be in the enemy’s image. We were made to be “in His image”. That is why the knowledge of God is important; you must know Him to become like Him!
Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
The change that is made in you is after the knowledge of Him; you cannot become a new man in the same filthy, defiled, old, vessel. That is why there is a necessity to have your flesh removed. Put on the new man ... is to clothe yourself anew. You are renewed by the knowledge of Him, and will be called to be in His image.
